Bathroom extractor fans - suggestions please
May 27th, 2021, 8:15pm

I have a problem with damp/ condensation in a downstairs bathroom, have tried to have a extractor fan installed but it cannot go through the wall or the ceiling (due to lintels and external pipes). We are looking to replace the window soon and have wondered whether you can buy new windows with built in fans?? Or any other ideas that you have would be appreciated.

You can have window glass supplied with a 4 inch hole in it, and can fit a through window fan.  Some are only suitable for a single pain, or thin double glazing, so do check.

Flat ducting is available and can be boxed in easier than round.
