Title: Re: what timber Post by jasonB on Jul 27th, 2004, 7:58pm As splinter says a good quality birch ply edged in hardwood with a decent coat of oil based paint should last for quite some time. I also think that a nice hand painted sign by a skilled signwriter looks a lot more professional than the computer cut vinyl that seems to have taken the skill out of signwriting. Jason |
