Title: boilermate 2000
Post by dickwoodward on Oct 14th, 2005, 11:50am

A friend has a boilermate 2000, he wants a tap fitting to his outside wall (to water the flowers). Can I just turn off the mains and drain the fresh water system? Do I need do anything to the boilermate 2000, eg turn anything off etc?

treat it as you would any other h/w system when fitting an outside tap. i.e. leave it alone. turn off the main, cut in your outside tap to the main supply(not forgetting your iso and check valves) and turn the water back on.

No need to disturb the hot water side at all m8 ;)
