Title: guttering Post by jennifer on Oct 26th, 2005, 10:46am I have had new guttering installed - cast aluminium powder coated. One of the down sections does not correspond with the drain and was left going into the ground. When I pointed this out, the person who did the work said he was waiting for a "shoe" to bring the down section across to the drain. Now he's fitted a bigger plastic drain cover instead. He says this is a better and more expensive solution. Is what he's done correct procedure? |

Title: Re: guttering Post by jennifer on Oct 27th, 2005, 9:14am I can't remember what it had as the property was recently purchased as a holiday home. I do know the original down pipe did go into the drain. Many thanks for your advice |
