The hose from my bath mixer taps comes out directly infront of and above my pop-up knob (fnarr fnarr). Is there some kind of 135° union that can be used the kink the hose off to one side to avoid it?
Am I in the wrong forum wanting a kinky hose to avoid my pop-up knob ? ;D

Can't you re-position the outlet to the side :-/

The only fitting that I can think of is a Chrome 1/2" bent Female Iron to Copper.

Screw the female iron onto your existing 1/2" outlet and then attach your hose to the male threaded part of the fitting (after nut and olive is removed of course)

If someone does a 45 deg female iron in chrome then that would be even better but I'm sure that's quite a rare fitting!!!

Can't really, it's huge & I don't want to upset the wife. Cwatters has got the right idea, but if they did that in 135° rather than 90°. I'll try to get a piccie tomorrow if I can, it might make it all clearer.

The shower hose is low pressure so perhaps you could Take a saw to a 90 degree version and soft solder it back at 45/135 ?
