I was wondering whether it performed well...design defects...availability of spare parts.

ease of switching between moulder and saw, whether the saw blade/riving knife could be fully retracted. Does it take a dado set.

Firtsly, is it a 609A..609TF or a 609Ti.. i ask this as it makes one hell of a difference to the machines,

however overall they (KITY) are extremely well built machines (must be as i have a few of them!!!)
spares are now available for the bigger machines through the NMRA -SCHEPPACH network who bought the rights to the machines late last year!!!

no chance on a dado set up i am afraid!!!

any of the three machines can drop the spindle moulder shaft below the table top, as well as the blade/riving knife below the top also, the question regards to the actual model, depends on if the machine is single or twin motored, and also if the spindle shaft is tiltable!!!
