Title: Posi Joists
Post by birty on Feb 1st, 2008, 8:14pm

Anyone fitted posi joists in a traditional new build brick n block property? Did you have any issues? I have:  the depth of joists can vary about 6mm giving problems with the floor when fitted. For an engineered joists the tollerence aint great. also a bit warped!!
Any one got similar experience?? >:(

exactly how are your posi 's built into your structure, and was the building carried out by yourself, or a contractor!

I wish I had those in my house, it would make my plumbing tasks a shed load easier !

I would expect engineered joists to be within 1mm not 6mm  :-?

Not ideal is it?  :(

depends on how they were installed, have seen where they were 10-15mmm out of whack, because some muppet had not leveled in the bearing walls, looked more like a helter skelter JD!!!

total pig ear hole!!!!
