Hi,
I'm setting up a new workshop in the coming weeks and would like to know a) were are the best places to buy good machinery 'cheap' and b) does anybody have a job lot of stuff (machines, cutters etc) that they're looking to sell?.

If there's anybody that's NOT in the Hull area (unless you don't mind!) that makes lots of sash windows and doorsets, can I come and have a look at your set up? ;)............

Good and cheap ::) when you find somewhere let us know ;D

eBay is always an option, I bought a few machines this year but had to do a fair bit of work to get them to work well. Depends how big your workshop is and if you have 3 phase, there look to be far more 3 phase machines going second hand than single phase.
