Title: Blades for `older` model B&D jigsaw
Post by juco on Apr 21st, 2008, 12:00pm

I have a Black and decker jigsaw circa 1985
Its  (I think) a DN535S    Model S5K30

Does anyone know what type of blades (or equivelent) I can use with it and who stocks them. I emailed B&D but no response as yet.

I have already bought 1 pack that dont fit. The blade is the type that has like a semi circle hole at the very end thats fits into the jigsaw.

thanks

is this the one !!!!!!!

is the clamp loose when you try and insert !!

may need rotating to 90 degrees to insert!!!

if its a tight clamp may be worth rubbing the the side of the blade with sandpaper to reduce the thickness slightly

Thanks for the reply.

Yes that looks like the one, Iwill try and sand the sides sligthly as it does seem that the blades I have are just a paint thickess too thick.

Thanks for the link and advice.
