Title: Water is only trickling into washing machine
Post by marbles67 on Sep 6th, 2010, 12:02pm

My washing machine drains through the same pipe as my sink. I had the sink pipe disconnected and reconnected yesterday while my washing machine was on, so I pressed pause on the washing machine.  Since the pipe has been reconnected, the washing machine isn't filling with a whoosh of water, although I can hear a slight trickle when I open the powder drawer.  My friend who disconnected the pipe tells me there's nothing he has done to the water supply, but something has happened because my machine won't fill!  Please help!

I think you need to turn the water back off and check the washer or tape isn't blocking the pipe.

There maybe a filter on the machine as well.

I guess the connection of the pipe is wrong. So check it out if that is the pipe of the washing machine. Determine also what is blocking the pipe.

Look for a kink in the pipe...
