Title: leaking oil fired boiler Post by helgarr on Nov 19th, 2010, 2:49pm Hi We have had some extensive plumbing work done (By a local plumber) on a bungalow that hadn't been touched for years. New unvented cylinder, rplacing pipework, central heatinf pump. WE have now got a a water leak from the oil fired boiler which he seems reluctant to fix. The leak was definitely not there prior to the boiler being drained down. Any ideas thanks |

Title: Re: leaking oil fired boiler Post by thescruff on Nov 19th, 2010, 4:29pm You don't need to be Oftec to work on the wet side. The fact it leaks now and not before could be many reasons, to be able to comment we would need to know exactly what was done and where. Old stuff can and will leak as soon as you look at it. I would have thought the plumber would make the repair, but inform you if there will be a charge. As above needs lots more info. |
