Post by wozzy on Dec 15th, 2010, 8:44pm

my wonderful (far from) ideal isar he 30 has problems again.  :(

working fine this morning, now hot water fine but no central heating boiler is running all the time and showing the d symbol just no heat what so ever.  showing just over 1bar.

What could be the cause this time? any ideas?

thanks for the reply.

i did consider whether to post this or not but may as well make a arse of myself.

the reason for no heating at all was in fact a tap had been left on.  Very very slowly a bath tap, i have a posh bath so the water doesnt drop but trickles down the bath, i must have knocked it at some point.

That trickle meant i had no heating.  Are all combis this good?

try not to laugh too hard at this one i can assure u i wasnt then i reasiled!

Your not the first and wont be the last.  All combis give priority to DHW, so long as the flow is enough to operate the flow switch then you ave your scenario.

Glad it was an easy fix though  ;)

i just never imagined a small trickle would stop the heating completely!  ::)
