Title: BT VERSATILITY HELP
Post by perry spanyol on Feb 9th, 2011, 1:37pm

Hey guys,

New to the forum.  Am an IT Manager with vast experience in VOIP Setups and network but no pabx board.

Have purchased a BT versatility CCU 40 port box, voicemail 2h 2p, feature phone and a few smaller 320s.  Have an ISDN box with 10 DDIs I wish to program.

I have wired in the featurephone into Ext 1 and the phone boots up fine and gets a dial tone but every time I dial out I get  busy tone (probably because the ISDNs aren't set up.  I do not have the software to configure so am trying to attempt to do it via the handset.

I have tried playing around with the ISDN setup etc on phone but am just having no luck as to configuring the phone to start dialing out etc.

If anyone can run me a step by step guide to do this asap - I dont even mind buying the person a few beers, via paypal, to say thanks!

Have you accessed the programming menu yet?  Can you get into this?

If so, you need to set the associated lines as ISDN, and also make you set them correctly yo PTMP or PTP depending on your ISDN line type.  You also need to ensure the lines are set to 'equipped'.

Have you got the manual?  I can sort one out for a small donation.
