Title: How to adjust Boliler temperature r?ange Post by qualar on May 4th, 2011, 8:11am I have a large oil boiler in my garage that supplies heating and hot water. It is a round knob that controls the temp that goes in a range 75 - 110 degrees. I would like to reduce this range to say something like 60 - 95. The entire system looks like it would be mechanical (no digital readouts or anything) The name of the Boiler is Viesmmann Rotola Is this possible and if so how? Please help it is costing me a fortune to run during the summer. |

If you want a lower temperature coming from the boiler, then turn the boiler stat down, bear in mind though that the heating may have been designed with a higher flow temp. If the boiler is oversized in terms of output, then the burner nozzle and pump pressure settings may be able to be changed to downrate the boiler. |
