Title: Electric shower wiring burned out Post by yoggo on Dec 19th, 2012, 1:35pm The neutral between the connector for the supply and and heating chamber is burnt to a cinder - just bits of black dust and melted plastic. I have had comment that this could be due to low water pressure but can this be true? Or even partly true? Surely the low pressure cut out should operate if pressure is inadequate? |

Title: Re: Electric shower wiring burned out Post by CWatters on Dec 20th, 2012, 6:36pm I could understand the element itself needing water to prevent it overheating but I'd be surprised if any other wire needed water for cooling. My bet would be a loose connection? |
