Title: Replace drain tap on Baxi 105e - is this how?
Post by Jhiker on Dec 3rd, 2013, 8:46pm

I need to replace the (white) drain tap on my Baxi 105e combi as it appears to be dripping. Do I just shut off the feed & return taps on the rear tap rail, drain via the white tap into a bucket, replace the drain tap, turn on the feed & return taps and re-pressurise with the filling loop?
Have I missed anything.
Many thanks!

Make sure it isn't dripping down from elsewhere, and take your time

Never tried it on the Baxi but all sounds about right.

Just one thing looking at the MI, I would also turn the cold mains to the boiler off.

And avoid any water getting on/into the electrics
