I am looking for advice for a suitable door closer for a front fire door for my mother.

Recently a new door was fitted with an overhead door closer which is difficult for my elderly mother to operate because there is too much tension and it's not ADM compliant. The door is narrower than a normal front door 775mm which also doesn't help.

Someone mentioned that a perko closer should have been used, are these ADM complaint? and if so a suitable model? or any other advice would be very much appreciated.
