Title: Cooker socket alternative use, is it safe? Post by Gpoet on Aug 22nd, 2015, 7:55pm I have an electrical cooker socket ( with an ordinary socket in main plate) the Orange switch turns on the socket behind the cooker. However I have a gas cooker so only use it for the ignition lighter/clock. I was wondering if I could add a double plug adapter and also run my gas boiler electrics from the same cooker socket. I don't think the two will take up much amps ... I'm no electrician so I just want to know if this is safe. |
