I have only used the forum for a few days and already I have gained loads of helpful tips.  Long may the forum last!! I for one will certainly recommend this site.  I am also a member of a satellite tv forum (my username is evidence of that!) where there are currently 55,000 members!!!  I will put a recomendation there.

Geezz! IN 1968 I was walking round with hair down to me shoulders, a bird on each arm, the Beatles were King (still)..

Now? One hair just about reaches the top of my ears the rest has long gone, the only birds I carry now are frozen chickens and I have not got a clue who is in Top of The Pops Ten nor the next 1,000 either!

And MANY thanks for passing on our wonderful Forum to ya pals.

in '68 I was still hoping Tedy boys would come back. I still wore drainpipes & had a TV hairstyle. My 1st son was born in '68 which changed my whole outlook on life. I got rid of the motorbike & bought a car.

omg its confessional time!!

My first was born in errr 1972, now she is expecting her second. This was followed by two others daughters - no, no boys at all. I did think of having the nickname "Hen-Pecked" it would be more applicable. Mind you I do have the good old shed at the bottom of garden (Sorry BAS!) - with TV, heaters, Optics etc. Home-Sweet-Home.

PS. does this make me younger than you Dewy? Is it possible, I have high hopes so say yes for God's sake!

It would be interesting to know the statistics of this. I'm mildly interested in knowing whether it's the plumbers who are winning..... ;)

The only statistic I can come up with is that the chippies seem to be lagging behind.

lol ynot47. Plumbers lag! They don't know the meaning of the word it's us sparkys that come along afterwards that do that sort of thing, plus fix a few leaks etc.
