Actually, I know a sparky called "Bunny"!

I've no idea what his real name is, but as you probably sussed, his surname is "Warren" & everyone calls him "Bunny".

Good job his name isn't "Catt" then. Can't imagine how difficult life would be for people to keep calling you "Pussy" :)

There's a very good builder in Cornwall called Sean Bunny.

Not that uncommon as a surname in Ireland. I'd be hopping mad if someone called me Warren with that surname. Like the guy I met called Doug Underhill..... I nearly stained the shorts when I was introduced. :)
