Title: servery hatch
Post by scotspark on Sep 24th, 2004, 12:46am

I want to take away a servery hatch from my kitchen to livingroom. It is on a single brick wall I want to leave the wall flat in the kitchen but leave aome recessed shelving on living room side

any suggestions

Brick it back up with the bricks on the side rather than flat wouldnt give you much that way or you could chip away a couple of inches around the opening all the way around enough to dab a plaster board flush on that side  so giving a little more depth the other. :)

Hardboard is narrower than plasterboard.  ;D

but you cant skim over hardboard and feather it in to the plaster ont  tuther side.
