Title: utility room Post by spot on Sep 24th, 2004, 5:58pm hi all can you help? i need to put a seperate ring main in my utility room. I have a washing machine ,dryer and a freezer in there. obviously the skts will be in place, but do i need a fcu for each one or one fcu for the whole lot? and do they need to have a neon? many thanks spot........ : |
Title: Re: utility room Post by Lectrician on Sep 24th, 2004, 6:49pm Why do you want FCU's for the sockets?? Sockets are sockets, and if you can get at them, there is no need for FCU's. Why a ring?? For a few odd sockets, run a 32amp 4mm radial. If you used one FCU, the 13amp fuse would last no time at all with washer, dryer etc running. |
