Title: screwfix Post by plugwash on Oct 1st, 2004, 10:22pm looks like screw you directs site will be down over the weekend again..... first the layoffs then the wiered misdeliverys and extra items now this also stopping taking orders because you can't currently deliver next day seems very strange to me |

Probably because they won't pay proper salaries to the IT guys, so they get second-rate IT guys who know how to configure Tomcat to display a site-wide webpage, but don't know how to do it for parts of a site. I sent an email to the address they give explaining how important the forums are to their customers and please keep it up when they take the rest of the site down. Haven't received a reply yet. |
