Title: Metal Water tank Post by chopster on Oct 11th, 2004, 3:54pm Help please. In my attic, there are 2 metal water tanks, neither are being used, but I really need to get them out of there and can't afford to have the roof taken off. They are too big for the loft hatch and being that they are supposed to be watertight I am guessing that they won't just pop apart if I bang them with a hammer a few times :D Has anyone faced this problem before. I thought about an angle grinding type tool, but concerned about the sparks and potential fire hazard. Ideas welcome |
