Title: Re: Welding Set Post by The_Trician on Nov 12th, 2004, 6:17pm Right, thanks, I am having problems terminating the 185mm 2 core cable into the back of the plug. Is it ok to leave the cord grip out or will this constitute a potentially dangerous situation? Is it acceptable to dig a hole in the floor immediately below the socket so that I can achieve the correct bending radius for the cable when plugging in? Thanks Peeps TT |

I've got my 4+kW welder working off a 13A plug. Once I'd removed the 13A fuse and soldered fusewire across the terminals it worked fine... |
