Title: Linux
Post by billythekid on Dec 20th, 2004, 12:42am

I've somehow(well i know eactly how) managed to bugger up my mouse settings so that the scrollwheel now scrolls a page at a time instead of like 3 lines. I'm sure its from the XF86Config or XF86Config-4 file where I've buggered up. Was trying to get the OS to recognise the 5-button mouse but its not happening. So what should the lines for the mouse actually be in there? atm I have

From XF86Config :

Quote:
Section "Pointer"
   Protocol "IMPS/2"
   Device "/dev/psaux"
   ZAxisMapping 4 5
EndSection

and from XF86Config4 :

Quote:
Section "InputDevice"
   Identifier "Mouse1"
   Driver "mouse"
   Option "Protocol" "IMPS/2"
   Option "Device" "/dev/psaux"
   Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
EndSection

Much obliged

Billy

You should have your mouse settings in the control panel.
Thats where I change mine.
