Title: Blue tooth Post by supersparky on Dec 30th, 2004, 1:30am standard range of a bluetooth phone is 10 meters PC dongle is 100 meters any way of increasing this range? just having a laugh at teh prospects of sending a file across the town lol or sending random files to people across the road.... i know i could take the aerial off, but what to replace it with and where to site it? a sky satalite work or some other kind of aerial? cheers ss |
Title: Re: Blue tooth Post by plugwash on Dec 30th, 2004, 1:56am bluetooth is a bit wimpy in transmit power wi-fi is somewhat better suited to such things as for high gain point-point antennas yes you can use a satalite dish but you will have to build your own feed horn (there are instructions online for doing this) |
