There are three ways to do this.

1) Tile the hatch the separetely, cutting the tiles so that the cut of the tile is on the join between hatch and floor. However if the hatch is close to sources of water this might not be a good idea.

2) Fully tile the bathroom floor, but put in access to the valves from the ceiling below. Like a loft hatch access.

3) Lay a lino floor which has a tile pattern on it which you can easily roll up when you need access.

:)Another way is to re-route the valves so they are accessable from under the bath or from another room with carpet.

But what are these valves for?  Has your house been extended and are these valves on the first floor?

These may be 'temporary' valves used when an extension was built so that the existing rads (or whatever) could continue to function after the new supplies were 'first fixed'.  When the extension was completed the vales were opened to fill the new pipework.

So you may not need access again?  More info please, and why 3 valves and why with drain cocks?  Maybe this is ground floor?  Tell us more............  ;D

i was hoping you guys could tell me :)
one has 'flow' written in pencil
the other has 'ret' (return?)
drain cocks not on same pipes,
house has not been extended in any way

well 2 of them are definately heating flow and return then.  Are these valves stopcocks or gate valves or ballofix valves?

Can't you re-route them to under the bath?  Are the drain cocks under this floor too?  Can they also be re-routed to under the bath?

What about creating a cupboard with these valve under that?

ps, a large, well lit, high definition photo may help  ;)

One of the pipes has got two brass lockshield valves either side of a dark pink thing that has got Grundfoss written on it!!!

Sorry couldn't resist saying that!

Seriously, If they are heating you could always just leave the valves in position and tile over them (after prepping floor of course!) or you could take the valves out and solder up the gap (soldering is a better jointing method under floor)

can you not gain accessto under bathroom floor by going under floor elsewhere????????????????

if so you still have access even after tiling :-/
