Title: Re: Fax Machine Problems Post by mrgrumpy on Feb 16th, 2005, 8:06pm Have had some dealings with fax m/c's, never seen this prob'm. Look in the manual for global reset or something similar. This however will erase number memory, but could sort out problem! However don't blame me if it don't ::) |

Title: Re: Fax Machine Problems Post by mrgrumpy on Feb 17th, 2005, 6:24pm Hi Tony Seems that only top end m/c's have global reset. This is a long shot!....but, has the m/c been specified with separate 'answer only' and 'answer and record' facilities, as it sounds like you may have to tell it to record the call. In my experience it will be something simple! The digital phone side, usually last for years, as it's normally the fax side that buggers up first! :'( |
