Title: Wiped joints Post by JohnD on Apr 3rd, 2005, 7:52pm It is some years since I last wiped a joint, but have one to do, connecting copper pipe to an original lead feed. Is it o.k. to use modern lead free flux and solder - if not, where do I get the old fashioned, toxic illegal stuff these days??!! Thanks JohnD |

Title: Re: Wiped joints Post by JohnD on Apr 5th, 2005, 2:52pm I have found some solder in my shed - but is it compatible with modern fluxes? If not, what should I ask for? Thanks to those who have responded so far. JohnD |
