Title: bathroom basin Post by JohnD on Jun 22nd, 2005, 12:48am When fitting a bathroom basin to a tiles floor, should I screw it to the floor and mastic it afterwards, or bed it in tile cement, screwit down and then grout it in the same grout as the floor tiles. The pan has been compo'ed in as normal. Thanks JohnD |
Title: Re: bathroom basin Post by The_Trician on Jun 22nd, 2005, 9:50am I sat both the pan and sink pedestal in 'Plumber's Mait' putty-type stuff before screwing down. This was to an oak timber floor to allow a bit of movement. TT |
