Title: Re: New Visitors And Members Post by big_all on Dec 31st, 2005, 1:34pm i always try to encourage enginuity bbbbuuutttt sometimes its a lost cause you need the right amount of common sence ,understanding of the workings and most off all the ability to remember where all the bits go ;D ;D ;D ;) |
Title: Re: New Visitors And Members Post by Lurch on Dec 31st, 2005, 2:15pm I thought I did quite well the other day, dismantled the dash on the car to repair the dot matrix display, all went back together with no bits left over!! ;D My first car was an Astra MkII, took the dash to bits not long after I had it and 3 years later there were still 2 screws left over that I'd put in the ashtray. Never dd find out where they went even after spending the next 3 years dismantling and reassembling it several times. ::) |
Title: Re: New Visitors And Members Post by Lectrician on Dec 31st, 2005, 2:22pm Been there with the vauxhalls - hidden screws everywhere! The centre console lamps used to blow for a past time, and replacing them was a nightmare. They did bring out a newer voltage stabaliser for the dash and console lights. Cost a fortune though, for a tiny little box! |
