Title: Tub adhesives / grout lines Post by jimcam on May 15th, 2006, 1:37pm I've got to use some ready-mixed adhesive/grout tomorrow for the first time. Anything I should bear in mind? I've only used cement-based adhesives and separate grout before. Also, is it possible/advisable to tile without grout lines? The tiles have been picked to match the kitchen work surface so would look better without any grout lines. |
Title: Re: Tub adhesives / grout lines Post by jasonB on May 15th, 2006, 6:51pm Take some of your usual adhesive with you, you won't like the adhesive/grout, not much grab, tiles will slip down the wall, takes longer to go off and the grout takes an age to firm up. Best to use a joint, you can get 1mm spacers. Jason |
