Anyone had experience of Venetian Plastering ?

Im thinking of it for a shower room.

I came across a guy that did this to a very high standard, it was quite outstanding, had a long conversation with him and ran through the pricing.

It worked out about the same price as a quality marble installation.

thanks Mudster.

Most people just look blank so I havent actually found anyone near me that does it.

One attraction was that - so Im told - if you do it using hydraulic lime you can shape it how you want and use it for a wetroom.

But if the cost is that high then looks like marble.    Or maybe a course...

They do a dvd and sell the marble stuff as well.

DoH!!! i should have thought of them,as when we do any heritage stuff down that way we use their Lime mortar and putty products....

but in my defence i was thinking more in the way of Yorks where you reside!!! ::) ::) ::)
