Title: Tiling Over Flooring Post by gary_2008 on Oct 11th, 2008, 11:06am Hi just a general question and was wondering if anyone can help..I have flooring in my kitchen i think it is click flooring has tile pattern,can anyone tell me if it is possible to lay floor tiles over this rather than rip all the flooring up.. Title: Re: Tiling Over Flooring Post by jasonB on Oct 11th, 2008, 6:00pm No, you will have to take it up The laminate is likely to have been laid on some form of underlay which will make the floor too flexible to tile onto, also it is floating on the subfloor so the last thing you want is your tiles moving about.
