I'VE BEEN TOLD THAT IT IS BETTER TO CRIMP WIRES THAN USE CONNECTOR BLOCK.  i AM THINKING OF PUTTING UP LIGHTS AND WONDER IF THAT IS CORRECT?

When putting up lights, terminal blocks would be preffered.

Crimp joints are good for joining one cable to one cable.  You would also need a decent ratched crimper to ensure a sufficient joint.

And some decent crimps. I had to buy some in a hurry from BNQ a while back & they didn't crimp up tight, they were like a swivel!
