HELP!!
Just about to purchase an Ikea Kitchen (against my beter judgement).
SWMBO likes it!! so there it is.

I do not like Ikeas cheap and cheerful tops, so would be greatful for info on which manufacturer would supply a quality laminate top. (if you get such a thing)

Have also toyed with solid surface but seems an arm and leg for tops = more than kitchen price!!

I think the worktops need to be a bit wider with Ikea kitchens :-/
but you probably know that already

Actually, as long as you've got all the bits in the kit, their quality is good. The only major problem is the lack of service space behind the base units.

Make sure you buy the 615mm wide worktops for these then space the cabinets forward giving space for the pipework. ;)
