Title: WEG Direct online starter Post by notquitesure on Feb 22nd, 2011, 4:13pm Hi wondered if anyone can help me fit this direct online starter as I am fairly new to working with motors and starters. This is a link to the wiring diagram I am using http://www.scribd.com/doc/21761778/DOL-Starter I am using the single phase connections but I'm not sure how the starter is fitted Thanks any help would be greatly appreciated! |

The hold in contact is part of the start button on all modern DOL starters, in fact the green button usually actually presses directly on the hold on contact...... |
Title: Re: WEG Direct online starter Post by The_Trician on Mar 28th, 2011, 9:38am Yes, the rectangular box with the green square on Lecs drawing holds 2 sets of contacts, one N/O & one N/C. Once you press the button, the contactor closes and the N/C contacts hold it in. TT |
