Title: eco freindly paint remover ? Post by gunderson on Mar 13th, 2011, 11:39pm Has anyone tried an eco freindly paint remover? Does it work? I am trying to remove quite thick paint from old tongue & groove wall panelling. I am almost certain that a lot of the layers will contain lead as the flat is over 100 years old. I would prefer to use a product like this, if it works, to minimise the risk of fumes & dust. I don't mind if it takes a bit longer & a bit more work, as long as it will work in the end. Also what sort of mask is best to use when stripping lead paint in this way? |
