Title: Exterior painting questions Post by juco on Jun 16th, 2011, 12:39pm Been over 20 years since I had to paint exterior so well out of date with latest techniques. Below are a couple of pics of the job ahead. Is it a case of scrape off loose, then sand down, prime/undercoat and then gloss? Although the paintwork looks bad there is only one small area where there is rot, indicated by the red line, it is only the corner thats bad, would it be possible to cut off the corner and replace that piece of wood? Or are there modern products for treating it? |
