Hi,

we currently have a BT Versatility system installed in our small hotel which consists of 2x V8 handsets at reception, 1x standard handset at the Bar, 1x standard handset in the kitchen and a standard handset in each of the 10 rooms.  Earlier this week when I went to use the phone i picked up the handset and there was no dial tone.  I've checked every phone and they are all the same.  They all have power however none of them have dial tones and I am unable to make internal or external calls on any of them.  

Has anyone ever experienced this or does anyone know what I can do to fix the problem.

Something like this sounds more like a hardware issue than a programming problem.

Is it ALL ports?  Do really check.

the main CCU has 8 ports, and the expansion module has another 8 / 16 etc.  If it is just the ones in the expansion module, check this is securely fitted to the backplane - has it been knocked?

Try a warm reset - best to lift the top cover and press the reset button - a tiny round button on the main PCB.  If you can't find this, just power down the system and then power back up - including battery if these are installed (large battery visible when lifting the top cover).
