Title: Difference between a Spitfire and a Hurricane Post by CWatters on Aug 4th, 2012, 8:13pm Caught this on Radio 4 today. Might be on Iplayer. I hadn't heard it before. Anyway two pilots are discussing the merits of a Spitfire vs a Hurricane. One says to the other... The problem with the Hurricane is that the undercarriage retracts inwards, so just when things start to get exciting she closes her legs, where as with a Spitfire.. |
