Title: Is a waste pipe trap always needed? Post by londonman on Nov 3rd, 2013, 1:12pm In the process of redoing our first floor en-suite. The waste pipe flows away into an open gulley at ground floor level. So open to the air. Is it necessary to fit a u-bend or trap? I can't see why it should be. No smells. Ok...maybe a little bit of wind but, hey, fresh air in the bog after I've been there is no bad thing :-[ Rats? |
