I found this infographic from electricianscourses4u.co.uk - "Getting Started as an Electrician" - stating that 61% of recommendations are based on tidiness..

Would you agree?

I guess it all depends on whether the customer is either in or out- otherwise I believe that tidiness, punctuality & politeness go hand-in-hand together.

I would say YES, with one of the contractors that we carry out work for , their repeat customers that we have dealt with in the past have actually request us, not by name, but with the line.. "Those guys you have that vacuum up during and after their work ...!" please....

Is this about cleaning up or using a ruler to space your cable clips?

Fully agree - but sometimes I've left the house cleaner than when I started LOL

When-ever I clip a cable, the clips are always spaced at exactly the same distance apart and I never use a ruler to measure the gaps.

However, I do always use the same hammer !
