Title: light switch Post by Blue98 on Jul 18th, 2014, 10:12pm I was steaming wallpaper in my daughter's bedroom and water got in the light switch. It now gives a slight electric shock. How worried should I be? Will it need looking at? Thanks. |
Title: Re: light switch Post by Lectrician on Jul 18th, 2014, 10:41pm Would be best to leave it well alone while wet. For the price of a new switch (assuming standard white), once your wall is dry, turn the lecky off and swap it for a new one (a new switch with new wall paper looks so posh :P ) Not a ticky job - Bedroom switches are typically going to be the easiest. |
