Title: hts3 Post by patrickwww on Apr 21st, 2015, 10:44am How would I know if my HTS3 needs replaced. I have my thermoclock or whatever it's called at 60 the water is warm .could it be the faulty Drayton HTS3 |
Title: Re: hts3 Post by Headrush on Apr 21st, 2015, 11:30am If you adjust the control up and down, you should hear it click on and off and see where it is doing so. When it is on, the heating system should come on and hot water will flow to the cylinder and heat the water inside. If this does not happen it usually points towards an electrical problem with the system like the 3 port valve for example, depending on your system. A voltage test on the thermostat output will determine if it's working ok or not. |
Title: Re: hts3 Post by thescruff on Apr 21st, 2015, 1:36pm As above but could be many things, including scale in the cylinder or a poor contact (stat/cylinder) Cylinder stats are pretty cheap so probably worth changing it and seeing what difference it makes |
