Title: What qualifications are needed to rewire old lamps Post by markbram on Jun 20th, 2015, 6:57pm Hello all, I have been getting a lot of advice and tips from this site, so thank you. I am interested in restoring old lights and lamps and wondered if anyone could tell me what qualifications / training would be needed to be able to do this with a view to selling to the general public. This would involve testing and re wiring where necessary. I don't want to just cut the plug off and say get it checked, and hope people do not just fit a new plug with potential hazards already present in the system! I would like to know that anything i sell is safe and fit for use. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Mark |
