Title: Strange small bung/covered plug on outside house
Post by Panday868 on Aug 3rd, 2015, 2:17pm

Hello, iv'e discovered a small covered bung or plug on the outside of my house wall, i may have only really just noticed it but i have no idea what it is as it seems to just sit in the stone brick like a covered raw plug type thing, its about the size of my small finger nail, had a black cap with a white washer around that and looks to have been pushed into a drilled hole, is it anything to do with  an old  satelite dish or telecom object, there are no wires from it externally, it's really vexing me, does anyone know plse  :-/ [gallery]Panday868/1438607812.jpg[/gallery]

I've seen these on a few buildings and always assume it's something to do with cavity wall insulation  :-/

Not really sure, would be interested to know.

yeps, only thing is its a solid stone wall, someone did suggest that it may be a pin to attatch a post up, in the past maybe, like a sale sign, i'm really not sure tho, its a mystery ::)

You remove eye and insert plug
