I'm moving into a house with a wooden lean-to on the side.
This has a polycarbonate roof and appears to be solidly built.
I would like to install a toilet/shower room and a utility room within this structure. I assume that this will technically be an out-building, but I want to make it feel as much like part of the house as possible. Do I have any restrictions/limitations if I wanted to change the external door that goes through into the lean-to? Any other restrictions regarding water, drainage, heating, electrics etc going out there? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

Drainage and heating would come under the regs, cannot sat about the rest of the work.

Maybe an idea to have a friendly chat to the building inspector, they will nearly always give you free advice
