Rough Guide Price. Cooker circuit

Time to replace our double fitted oven. Existing unit is on a single plug (double socket on the kitchen ring on wall above enclosure).

New replacement we are looking at requires hardwiring (4.6Kw max load).

CU is in kitchen (inside wall unit) not too old (I'd say 4-5 years old) on the same wall about 3 metres away, has spare ways on the unprotected side for mcb (can't remember make but one of the mainstream).

New feed could be surface mounted above the wall units as pelmit would hide the trunking.

So after an idea of the likely cost to install the new circuit inclusive (located on the South Coast).

Just a rough idea as the budget for the Oven replacement will have to include this required works.

Thanks,

Paul

I would budget for £150.00 inclusive of parts, labour and materials plus VAT (if applicable to the saprk who does it). Get quotes around that and you won't go far wrong.

Many thanks for that.

I can add it to the budget.

Guess the Mrs will have to have the next model down to pay for the electrical install.
